Croft Power Equipment was founded in 1998 by brothers Marc and Neil Croft with a clear goal to provide high quality outdoor power equipment backed by dependable, long term service. Starting in a small facility in Woods Cross, Utah, the company quickly became known as a trusted resource for homeowners throughout Bountiful, Davis County, and surrounding communities.
From the beginning, Croft focused on building relationships rather than simply making sales. While big box retailers emphasized volume and pricing, the Croft team prioritized helping customers choose the right equipment and supporting them long after they left the store.
As the outdoor power equipment industry grew in the early 2000s, so did Croft Power Equipment. Sales of walk behind mowers, riding mowers, and lawn tractors increased across the market, but much of that growth went to national chains. Croft responded by leaning into its strengths, offering expert guidance, personalized recommendations, and a level of service that larger retailers could not match.
